Supervised by Brandi Kulikov-Ramirez 134149

At the core of Lex’s therapeutic philosophy is the belief that healing begins when people feel genuinely seen, safe, and understood.

Lex believes every individual already possesses the capacity for growth and resilience, and her role is to help clients reconnect with their strengths through compassionate support, self-awareness, and meaningful therapeutic connection.

Lex’s journey into the mental health field was shaped by both her professional experiences and her personal life. After becoming a mother herself and navigating her own postpartum challenges, she developed a deep passion for supporting women during seasons of transition, identity shifts, and emotional overwhelm. These experiences inspired her to become a postpartum doula and newborn care specialist, further strengthening her commitment to maternal mental health and family wellness.

Her work is rooted in empathy, authenticity, and creating a space where clients feel comfortable showing up exactly as they are without fear of judgment. Lex believes therapy can be a powerful tool not only for individual healing, but also for breaking unhealthy cycles and fostering healthier future generations.

Lex primarily utilizes a person-centered approach while incorporating evidence-based modalities tailored to each client’s unique needs. She integrates techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and strengths-based approaches to help clients build emotional awareness, improve coping skills, strengthen relationships, and navigate life transitions with greater confidence.

She especially enjoys working with adolescents, young adults, postpartum mothers, and individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, emotional overwhelm, identity challenges, and relationship difficulties. Lex is passionate about helping clients feel empowered, emotionally supported, and more connected to themselves throughout the therapeutic process.
