Kat Mabry

CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER & WELLNESS COACH

Kat is here to help you rediscover your strength, rebuild your confidence, and use movement as a pathway to healing and self-worth.

Kat is a NASM-certified personal trainer with a passion for helping others transform their lives through movement, healing, and mental strength. She holds an Associate’s degree in Communications and is currently completing her nutrition certification through NASM, further deepening her commitment to holistic wellness. Kat’s educational journey began with a focus on journalism at Cal State Long Beach, but her true calling emerged through her own path of recovery and resilience.

As a coach at Burn Boot Camp, Kat empowers women every day by combining strength-based training with mindset coaching and nutritional guidance. Her passion for fitness started before becoming a mother, when she led both children’s and adult classes at 3 Elements Lifestyle in Thousand Oaks. Her professional background spans 20 years in the service industry and work in college and professional newsrooms, giving her a deep understanding of human connection and communication.

Kat specializes in helping women and teenage girls build confidence, emotional regulation, and self-worth—particularly those recovering from trauma, abuse, and anxiety. Her trauma-informed approach is grounded in her personal healing journey, having overcome mental, physical, and sexual abuse. This lived experience allows her to coach with a rare depth of empathy and strength.

Her coaching philosophy is simple yet powerful: movement is healing. Through small, consistent goals, she helps clients build inner strength, calm anxiety, and regain control over their lives. Kat believes that every person deserves to feel strong, safe, and empowered in their body and mind.

Outside of work, Kat is happiest outdoors with her husband and children—whether it's hiking, beach days, or biking. She’s passionate about cycling, running, and bootcamp-style fitness, and finds joy in cooking and baking with her kids. She once trained for a triathlon while pregnant, showing the same grit and heart she brings to every client session.

At Generational Wellness, Kat offers more than fitness coaching—she offers a space to heal, grow, and transform. Her goal is to help each client find peace, strength, and confidence, using movement as medicine for both body and soul.
